Social Security System (SSS) President and Chief Executive Officer Emilio S. de Quiros Jr. (seated, 4th from left) headed the turnover of donations to charitable institutions for the sick, the poor, the elderly, and children with special needs during ceremonies held at the SSS Gallery at the SSS main office in Diliman, Quezon City on July 28. The donations were funds pledged by SSS officials and employees as part of the agency’s annual gift-giving tradition that starts during the Christmas season.
The beneficiary institutions were the Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation, Inc. (PGHMFI), White Cross, Bahay ni Maria Home for the Elderly, UP-PGH Alfredo T. Ramirez Burn Center, Haven for the Elderly, Craniofacial Foundation of the Philippines, Inc., and Center for Excellence in Special Education Foundation, Inc.
