The Social Security System (SSS) announced that starting July 1, 2017, Land Bank of the Philippines checks will be used for SSS benefits being paid through checks.
This is in compliance with Department Circular No. 01-2017 issued by the Department of Finance designating authorized government depository banks for national government agencies (NGAs), government owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) and local government units (LGUs).
