A total of 87 job order and contractual workers of the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) will soon have social security coverage after the Social Security System (SSS) inked an agreement with PCUP during ceremonies held at the DHC Building in Project 7, Quezon City on August 17. With the new partnership, job order and contractual workers of PCUP offices nationwide will gain access to SSS benefits and loan privileges as active SSS members with the PCUP overseeing the regular remittance of their SSS payments.
