A big-time female pusher of methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, was arrested by anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during a buy-bust operation in Mandaluyong City.

PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr. identified the suspect as Norma Ebrahim y Mastura, 38 years old and a resident of Muslim center, Quiapo, Manila.

On October 31, 2014, operatives of PDEA Regional Office 4A (PDEA RO4A) under Director Adzhar Albani arrested Ebrahim after she was caught red-handed while selling one heat-sealed plastic sachet of shabu weighing approximately two grams to a poseur-buyer within the vicinity of Greenfield District Square, Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City, at around 4:00 PM.

Confiscated from Ebrahim was another sachet wrapped with packaging tape containing 400 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P1,200,000.

Ebrahim will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the Office of the City Prosecutor, Mandaluyong City. She is presently under the custody of PDEA RO4A.
