The Social Security System (SSS) conducted in coordination with the Philippine Information Agency its first Media Skills Training Seminar for senior officials last April 27-28 at Brentwood Suites, G. Garcia St., Paligsahan, Quezon City. The seminar trained the senior officers on how to properly answer questions during media interviews, the value of having a uniform statement on issues as well as educate them of the importance of PR in an organization. The participants were also given the chance to experience and enhance their skills on dealing with reporters and journalists in different situations in a simulation workshop.
The seminar was facilitated by Ms. Chi-Chi Fajardo-Robles (seated second row, middle), a former broadcast-journalist and currently the Managing Director of the Corporate Communications of the University of Asia and the Pacific.
