A suspected drug den was dismantled by anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during a buy-bust operation in Cagayan De Oro City.

PDEA Director General Isidro S. Lapeña identified the drug den maintainer as Zubair Guro Pampa alyas Boborge, 27 years old, a resident of Barangay 27, Cagayan De Oro City.

On April 19, 2017, elements of PDEA Regional Office 10 (PDEA RO10) under the direct supervision of Director Adrian G. Alvariño arrested Pampa during a buy-bust operation conducted in Vines Inn, Yacapin Street, Barangay 27, Cagayan De Oro City.

Also arrested were Khaleem Pandapatan Macatangcop, Mohaimen Guro Pampa, Najola Capampangan Minalang, Jaffar Lazim Naga and Merafin Jun Sabado Libot.

Seized inside were eight pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet in different sizes containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, weighing more or less 300 grams, with an estimated market value of P1,800,000.00, and drug paraphernalia.

The suspects will be charged violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 6 (Maintenance of Drug Den), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 12 (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia), Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
