Shooting enthusiasts and marksmen who have missed the activity due to the seven-month long quarantine were given the chance to showcase their practical shooting skills at the 1st Invitational Media Fun Shoot and Police Regional Office 3 Marksmanship Test held on October 30, 2020.

The half- day fun shoot set at the Camp Capt Julian Olivas Firing Range started at 8 a.m was free of charge and was open to all media practitioners and stakeholders of Metro Manila and Central Luzon as well as NCRPO and PRO3 personnel. No less than USEC JOEL EGCO of the Presidential Task Force on Media Security and  PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON joined in the fun shoot.

Around 250 members of the press and uniformed personnel also participated in said event. “We are here today to compete with our own selves, not to display our firearms and hold the expectators in awe but because we want to make our relationship stronger and better with one another. Best of all, we are here today because we are all responsible gun owners who love the shooting sport, ” PBGEN DE LEON said during the activity. (CRIS PALARCA)
