Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- As the campaign to account loose firearms and explosives intensifies, authorities were able to arrest a 58-year-old farmer with unlicensed gun and explosives thru implementation of search warrant in Nueva Ecija on March 30.

Based on the report of PCOL JAIME SANTOS, Acting PD, Nueva Ecija PPO, joint personnel of Gapan City PS and CIDG NE PFU PCOL JAIME SANTOS, Acting PD, Nueva Ecija PPO, joint personnel of Gapan City PS and CIDG NE PFU under the overall supervision of PLTCOL EDILMAR G ALVIAR, ACOP, Gapan CPS implemented Search Warrant Number 2021-05 issued by Hon. Elenita N Evangelista-Casipit, Executive Judge of Gapan City, Nueva Ecija, dated March 24, 2021 for violation of 10591 against Arthur CRUZ y Pangilinan, 58 yrs old, farmer, married, and a resident of Brgy. Mangino, Gapan City, Nueva Ecija.

Seized from his possession were one (1) color gold Smith and Wesson cal .38 revolver without serial no., with three (3) live ammunition in its cylinder, two (2) riffle grenades, one (1) M203 grenade, and thirty-one (31) pcs live ammunition of cal.45.

“We have been continuously beefing up our aggressive drive to recover and to seize loose firearms through continuous police operations and implementation of Search Warrants against illegal gun owners. May this serve as a stern warning to all especially those who have not yet renewed their licenses or turned-over their undocumented firearms in their nearest police stations for safe keeping.
