Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Central Luzon Regional Director PBGEN MATTHEW P BACCAY said that Bulacan police were able to seize more than Php13-M worth of shabu and arrest a notorious drug peddler while his cohort managed to elude arrest during an anti-drug operation (buy bust), early Friday (November 26) in Malolos City, Bulacan.
PBGEN BACCAY identified the suspect as Abubakar SANDIGAN alias Kapatid, 31 years old, tricycle driver from Brgy. 311, Quiapo, Manila who was caught by operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), Malolos City Police Station (CPS).
Confiscated were two (2) green plastic Chinese-labeled packs containing suspected shabu with DDB value of Php13,600,000.00, one (1) mobile phone and buy-bust money. Appropriate criminal complaint against SANDIGAN is now being prepared for court.
PBGEN BACCAY commended Bulacan police for a job well done and further stated that the entire Central Luzon cops is committed to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region. (PIO-3)(CRIS PALARCA)
