In a simple yet significant event, the DRP TV marked its soft launch and ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 20, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at their studio in San Juan City.
The affair was hosted by Cathy Cruz, the lively emcee of the occasion, while Bro. CJ Bacalla delivered a heartfelt opening prayer to kickstart the important event. Raffy Rico, the Station Manager of DRP TV, warmly welcomed the attendees, laying out their aspirations for their humble business.
Leading the ribbon-cutting ceremony were Itos Valdez, the President of the Katipunan ng Demokratikong Pilipino (KDP), alongside Rogelio Ortiz and Marilou Ovilla, both esteemed former officials of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), 2nd from right Rodolfo P. De Guzman, Senior SRSOIC, CRPD, DOST-STII, & Joy Lazcano, DOST-STII and 1st from left Rissa Claire Tagle Rico part owner of DRP tv and Regina Rico-Gahoy, the wife of MJ Gahoy, owner of Olympus Premium Automotive Lifestyle.
The event began with a simple registration process, and as the live stream commenced, the group successfully sang the national anthem. This was followed by Bro. CJ Bacalla’s prayer and Raffy Rico’s warm remarks, setting the tone for the occasion.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony symbolized the start of their journey, followed by messages from the attendees expressing their support. After the ceremony, everyone had the opportunity to capture moments with those who contributed to the development of the DRP TV.
