The Philippine National Police (PNP), Quezon City Police District with Police Senior Superintendent, Remigio Sendanco, PCRG, and other Police Officers and Personnel had initiated their annual  “Harana ng mga Pulis sa Araw ng mga Puso” in celebration of Valentines Day.  The event was held at the Cubao MRT Station, Cubao, Quezon City from 9:00 a.m until 12:00 nn.

A live band from members of Camp Crame Police Group with spectacular music serenaded the MRT commuters, crowds and other individuals who were there to merely hang out in the mall  to enjoy the celebration with their loved ones, savor their favorite food and do shopping in the busiest streets and commercial districts in Cubao.

PO2 Norman Wileman Police Personnel from Camp Crame was the soloist of the Band. He performed with all his heart and energy.  He sang  in order to attune and entertain the crowd. ” Bata pa lang ako, hilig ko na talaga kumanta. Sa simbahan ako nagsimula kumanta dahil member ako ng choir.” he said. He is now five years in the Police Service and only 27 years old.

Selected Police Personnel performed a dance number together with three (3) Police Mascots: MAGALANG, MAKATAO at MAASAHAN. After their performance they approached the crowd for selfie as souvenirs.

Some Police Personnel danced with selected ladies and offered fresh red roses just to make them feel special and flattered.  As part of the event, they distributed souvenir items and leaflets. Likewise, the MRT Management distributed free single journey tickets to all passengers valid for one day.

Meanwhile, Police Senior Superintendent, Remigio Sendanco delivered his message. He emphasized that as men in uniform they are not only mandated by law to safeguard the peace situation in the area where they are assigned to fight illegal drugs and other criminalities in the country but they are as well mandated to give out their gifted talents in order to entertain during special occasion such as this.
