Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN RHODEL O SERMONIA launched the PRO3 Food Bank with the aim to collect food for families throughout Central Luzon experiencing hardships not just during this Enhanced Community Quarantine but also during emergencies, disasters and crisis.

PBGEN SERMONIA said that Police Regional Office 3 has partnered with participating government agencies, the Federation of Philippine Industries (FPI), companies in the Ecozones, member-companies located in Region 3 and other stakeholders advocating emergency response and disaster-preparedness, to facilitate the cycle of food donations.

Donations of non-perishable and much needed food items are systematically categorized and are stored in available spaces of member agencies which are in close proximity to evacuation centers within the region. “We hope to raise tons of food to distribute to our communities who are doing it through these trying times and we encourage every one to make a difference by participating in this project,” PBGEN SERMONIA added.
