Assistant Regional Director Paula Paz M. Sydiongco who graced the event stated that the new health service units will facilitate appropriate care focusing on promoting the health, preventing illness, and other chronic conditions of patients in the community.

The newly opened health services were funded through the DOH HFEP (Health Facility Enhancement Program) including the cancer clinic (with repair cost of P5,000), the animal bite treatment center (with repair cost of P20,000); the 10-bed capacity emergency tent amounting to P400,000 and the 10-bed capacity OB UHC WARD with P10 million fund from the Temporary Treatment Monitoring Facility (TTMF) project.

A newly constructed and improved waiting area where family members and companions of patients can stay and relax is also ready to use.

“Providing continuous and comprehensive care to patients and making public health services available is our primary goal including offering quality health and social services to our indigent sectors in the communities.

“We need to provide and ensure that our beneficiaries/patients receive the best care from our health facilities,” Sydiongco emphasized.
