Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- As the waging war on illegal drugs continues, authorities were able to arrest two (2) suspected drug peddlers and seized Php 9.6M worth of Marijuana on Thursday, February 10, 2022.
Based on the report of PCOL ROMMEL OCHAVE, Acting PD, Bulacan PPO, joint operating personnel of Bulacan PIU, Bulacan PDE, San Miguel MPS and PDEA Bulacan conducted anti-illegal drug bust operation at Brgy. Paliwasan, San Miguel, Bulacan which led to the arrest of Dexter ASBAN y Palad @Dex, 20 years old, male, resident of Barangay Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan and Jomerson MACUSI y Nebre, 26 years old, male, and resident of Barangay Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan.
Total evidence confiscated from the suspects were eighty (80) pieces of plastic sealed bricks of dried marijuana weighing approximately 80kgs with an estimated street value of Php 9,600,000.00.
Appropriate charges for violations of Sec. 5 and 11, Art II of RA 9165 are being readied for court referral.
