Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Pampanga Police were able to arrest a suspected drug peddler and confiscated nearly Php 400k worth of shabu during an anti-illegal drug operation in Guagua, Pampanga on March 30.
In his report, PCOL JONAS T AMPARO, OIC, Pampanga PPO said that joint elements of RPDEU-3, SCU-RID3, PIU PAMPANGA and Guagua MPS conducted anti-illegal drug buy bust operation at Brgy San Jose, Guagua, Pampanga which resulted in the arrest of Angelito BARTOLO y Hereros @LITO, male, 60 years old, and resident of Brgy San Jose, Guagua, Pampanga.
Seized from the suspect were three (3) cellular phones, one (1) PC pouch, one (1) piece pink pouch, twelve (12) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 55 grams with an estimated DDB value of Php 374,000.00 and Php 1,000.00 bill as marked money.
Charges for violations of Sec. 5 & 11, Art. II of R.A. 9165 are being readied for filing in court against the suspect.
“We are relentless in our campaign against illegal drugs and we will keep on conducting anti-drug operations to stop its proliferation, may this serve as a warning to those who are still involved in illegal drug trade and illegal activities,” PRO3 Director PBGEN MATTHEW P BACCAY said.
