The Department of Science and Technology (DOST), led by Secretary Renato Solidum Jr. (center, first row), launched its eighth priority research and development program to advance science, technology, and innovation in the Philippines. The event was held at Dusit Thani Hotel, Makati City, on Wednesday (Feb. 5, 2025). The program focuses on eight key areas: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Virtual Hub, Quantum Computing Technologies, Smart Technologies, Smart Agriculture, Geospatial Analysis Research Hub, Industry 4.0, Biologics in Pharma, and Circular Economy.
