Photo0099Fifteen laureates for the 2014 GUSI Peace Prize International of the GUSI Peace Prize Foundations were presented at the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center Auditorium in Cooperation with the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center on November 24, 2014.

Ambassador Barry Gusi, after the welcome address of Dr. James G. Dy, President of the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center and 2012 GUSI Peace Prize International awardee, presented the 15 laureates of the 2014 GUSI Peace Prize International Manila, Philippines.

Introduced were the following: From Austria, Dr. Hans Koechle; from Bangladesh, Dr. Atiur Kahman; China, Dr. Manson Fak, Congo, Prof. Virima Mudogo, France, Hon. Dominique Hoppe, Germany,, Prof. Gerhard Bringmann; India, Dr. Achyuta Samanta; Iran, Hon. Parvig Pargari; Italy, Dr. Luigi Pellegrini; Japan, Prof. Yoshinary Asakawa, Lithuania, Farmer President Vytantas Lankbergis, Senator Cynthia A. Villar.

The awardees have distinguished themselves as brilliant exemplars of society or who contributed toward the attainment of peace and respect for human life and dignify with the fields of Academe, Scientific Research and Discovery, Physiology or Medicine, Chemistry, Physics, Journalism, Statesmanship, Philanthropy or Humanitarism, Economics, Cinematic Excellence, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Engineering Technology, Religion, Politics, Poverty Alleviation, Literature, Cultural Heritage, Internationalism, Architecture, Archeology, Ecosystem and Biodiversity and Biology. The Awards Night was held at the World Class Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on November 26, 2014, Manila.

The GUSI Peace Prize, Asia’s foremost awarding body today is a charitable foundations chaired by Hon. Barry S. Gusi with Hon. Arnold Rundel as President, a farmer President of Estonia.

Its main Objective is to recognize and give proper recognition through the conferment of awards of excellence and distinction to individuals or groups worldwide who have distinguished themselves as brilliant exemplars of society or who contributed toward the attainment of peace and respect for human life and dignity in the fields mentioned above.
