PBA Phillipine Cup
Game 1 of the PBA Philippine Cup was down the wire up to the last .01 second. It took the PBA to decide the buzzer beater of Jayson Castro whether to count it or not but in the end it was counted so the final score was 86-84 in favor of the TNT Tropang Giga, Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Jordan Clarkson, the Fil-Am Utah Jazz NBA player who will join the GILAS in the coming FIBA games was in attendance in the game.
