Thirty-six (36) brand new Toyota Hi-Lux (4×2 Single Cab) and one (1) bus from the PNP Directorate for Logistics were received by Police Regional Office 3 in line with the PNP’s Capability Enhancement.

The Blessing and Turn-Over Ceremony of said automobiles was held at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Captain Julian Olivas, City San Fernando, Pampanga earlier this morning (December 2) wherein the recipients are Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales Provincial Police Offices.

PRO3 Regional Director PRO3 PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said that the procurement of these vehicles is very timely since several proactive anti- criminality campaigns of PRO3 are very much in effect and round the clock conduct of anti-criminality checkpoints and mobile patrolling are sternly carried out.

“With this additional mobility, more positive accomplishments will be achieved in the coming days and the public can expect the PNP-PRO3 to respond better to incidents. The delivery of our police services will be more effective and efficient from all corners of the region,” PBGEN DE LEON further stated. The PRO3 Head also gave directives to detail two dedicated drivers for the patrol vehicles. (CRIS PALARCA)
