ANIM na taon na sa pagtulong at pagpapaunlad ang Aquatech: Aquaculture Expo and Convention Philippines ngayong 2015, na pinamamahalaan ng Events Quality & Interactive Promotions (EQUIP), Inc. katuwang B-MEG Aquatic Nutrition, ATOVI (Vim-Vertex & Co.), Asian Fisheries Development Center-Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources at marami pang iba.
Ngayong taon, pamamahalaan ni Atty. Asis G. Perez ang Aquatech na may temang “Aquaculture TOP UP! (Technology, Opportunity & Production Sustainability) kung saan mahigit sa 300 participants mula sa mga fish farm owner, aquaculture professionals at practitioners, academe at government officials ang dadalo sa 2-day event ng aquaculture trends and technologies na gaganapin sa Mayo 28 hanggang 29 sa Raintree Ballroom ng Summit Ridge Hotel, Tagaytay City.
Ang Best Alternatives Campaign Leader at Reader’s Digest Asia’s ang napili bilang isa sa Philippines’ Most Trusted People sa katauhan ni Gregg Yan, na siya ring magbibigay-aral tungkol sa “greener and equally-profitable alternatives to a host of seafood, aquaculture and curio products”.
Ang Angat Kabataan ng Taytay “Streams of Hope Project”, sa pangunguna nina Ayala Young Leader, John Tobit Cruz (president) at Allen Baloloy (vice president), na magbabahagi ng tagumpay ng Maningning Creek, Taytay, Rizal, na isang modelo sa rehabilitation ng waterways sa Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Laos.
Pangungunahan naman ni BFAR-NIFTDC Center Chief, Dr. Westly R. Rosario ang tungkol sa “Emerging Species: Siganid”.
Ibabahagi naman ni Dr. Maripaz L. Perez ng WorldFish Center, ang “Aquaculture Development Scenarios in the Philippines: Initial Results and Recommendations”.
Bilang kaisa sa 6th Aquatech, ilalahad ng Centre for Sustainability, sa pangunguna ni Jonah van Beijnen ang tungkol sa “Hatchery and Grow-out Technology of Groupers”.
Samantala, ang delegado ng Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC), ay ilalahad ang Addressing Challenges in Sustainable Fish Production through Aquaculture Genetics ni Dr. Ma. Rowena Eguia.
