DA CALABARZON has turned over a new rice combine harvester and has been tested by rice farmers from barangays Bayog and Maahas in Los Baños, Laguna, as they reap their yield this September harvest season.
The intervention is part of the farm mechanization program of DA that promotes the use of modern agricultural technologies.
With the use of this brand-new rice combine harvester, Los Baños rice farmers can have faster harvest time that would result to higher rice yield and higher profits.
