With time down to a little bit over 32.8 seconds in the 4th quarter with San Miguel Beermen ahead by 2 points 106 to 104 over the Blackwater Bossing, Baser Amer threw a 3 pointer to give his team the upper hand at 107 to 106.
San Miguel tried to regain the lead in the ensuing play but Myke Ayonayon of the Bossing intercepted the ball and passed the ball to their import, Cameo Krutwig for the basket to increase the Blackwater Bossing’s score to 109 against the San Miguel Beermen’s 106, time down to 20.5 seconds.
The San Miguel Beermen tried to equalize through Mario Lassiter with his dreaded 3 pointer and their import Diamond Louis Stone but the ball did not fall, giving the Blackwater Bossing the win. (Max A. Ferrer)
